BioI am a doctoral student in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of South Florida, specializing in Communications with a cognate in Rhetoric and Composition. Dissertation interests include a rhetorical analysis of the Achievement Gap and an ethnographic study of dialogic classroom communication. A high-school Language Arts teacher for 16 years and a department head for two, I am currently on sabbatical.
