Summary:

This is my page where I will tell you everything I added to the class wiki page on Public Writing.

Today went very well. Although it was in fact the first day, we got plenty of things done. Basically, we got all the main ideas down on the page first and later added more details to each section. In our group, the tasks weren't divided amongst us three; we all just came together and worked on the page at the same time. When someone suggested something, the rest of the group would add more details. For example, the section about advertising was one of my suggestions, being that my research paper was on advertisements. From that suggestion we would each add more to the paragraph, taking it more in depth. Working together as a group, resulted in getting a lot accomplished on the first day. The only thing that is left to do is to add some pictures onto our web page.

Today, I went on my computer to look for my essay on public writing in order to find more information that we can include on our web page, under Advertisements. Yesterday, when we were writing about advertisements, I remembered about the paper that I wrote about using advertisements through the internet. Even though I did write about advertisements, I couldn't remember what was included on the paper. But once finding the paper, I found out that most of the stuff mentioned was included on our page. The topic about politics and their involvement with the internet was separated into another topic.

Having most of our writing done, the last time we were in the computer laboratory, the only thing that was left for us to do was to add some pictures onto our web page. We all wanted to add some glitter text on our page, for our sections; but it didn't seem to work. We tried several other web pages with glitter graphics and even selected the color and the font, but it proved to take too much time. But instead of adding the glitter graphics, we added some pictures. As a group, we all decided what kind of pictures we would want to have displayed on our page. Once finding at least one picture for each section, we thought that we should add more pictures, but later found out that it would look cluttered having at least two pictures for each section.
