First, the NSA is mining information from social-networking sites, but they may come up empty-handed because social-networking sites are not the most profitable investment when it comes to efforts in thwarting terrorism. The next important point is that the NSA is using the RDF coding language to their utmost advantage, making those web sites which convert to RDF easy targets for data-mining operations; and thirdly, the NSA can go anywhere it wants, even if it is not supposed to, and little can stop them from doing so. Every bit of information here was incredibly helpful to me, and gave me new insight into how the government involves itself with our daily lives.
